I illustrated another of my Hippeastrum in coloured pencils. I own quite a lot of Hippeastrum - I love them.

The image depicts a striking red and white Hippeastrum, with four flowers at various stages of bloom, from a closed bud to a fully open flower. Each petal transitions from green at the centre, through white in the middle, to red at the outer edge. There are strong red veins crossing the margin between the white and red areas.
